Post subject: will she catch up i worry georgia will not catch up at 5 and a half weeks old she weighed 5lb 15oz which is real small for 5 and a half week old. waiting to c wot she weighs tomorrow.

Post subject: course she will catch up Laura. Megan only weighed 4lbs 9oz at 6 weeks. I know she weighed much less than Georgia but look at her now!

Post subject: I bet she will soon go through a massive growth spurt soon just like Alfie has.
He was 5lb 1oz when he was born, and went down to 4lb 9oz before we went back into hospital with jaundice. He is now 5 weeks 4 days and was 6lb 14oz last monday. I reckon he will be about 7 1/2lb when he is weighed tomorrow. I can't believe how much he can drink now, he does need encouragement sometimes, but he is growing everyday and can even wear proper clothes now! Have you found it hard to find clothes to fit her? she will catch up in no time at all. My 12 yo was 4lbs2oz and she is top of her class! She soon caught up with her peers. My son is now 10yo, and he was 11 weeks prem - weighed 2lbs 11oz - he has no health problems and plays football for the local town. He is a little dyslexic, but i think that is down to his prematurity. Julie xx _________________

As for clothes, Asda do tiny baby clothes which are reasonable, we got alot of Aimee's first clothes from there xx yes georgia is in asda tiny baby clothes now. was aimee below the lines in her baby health record? georgia is below the line and this worries me. _________________

Forgot to say, she went down to 2lb 10oz just after she was born and then she's steadily put weight on ever since xx yer i think ill feel better once shes on the lines in her health record so i no shes a healthy weight. i think thats where georgia missed out about she lost 11oz and then started puttin on weight slowly. but shes been puttin on more past couple of weeks so hope that stays the same. _________________
