Post subject: Any older mums out there? (30+)
Im 35 and TBH feel abit 'old' to be pregnant again (saying that, my friend, who has in the past had trouble conceiving is pregnant for the first time aged 38, conceived naturally too after years of it not happening)
I was just wondering how many of you are older mums?
How old are you?

Im not sure of my dates yet, my pregnancy wasnt planned, i was on the pill (or so i thought - damn memory - must remember to take it EVERYDAY lol) So im awaiting a scan (on 12th Aug) to date me (so-to-speak)
Im not really worried about my age in relation to pregnancy, but was curious as to how many other members were in their 30's.
I had my first baby when i was 21, so i guess ive been at both ends of the scale now! lol

Its good to know there are other pregnant mums out there with teenagers!
My eldest is 14 and to be honest, it feels a little odd being pregnant again with a daughter who will be leaving school in a few years!
If you dont mind me asking - did you plan your baby - or like me, was it a suprise (suprise - lol sounds like it came out of a kinder egg - but you know what i mean)
Im with a new partner, who is 45 and he is thrilled to bits!

I guess with todays 'career women' and the increase in fertility problems, its not so unusual to be 30+ and pregnant, although the majority of new mums do seem to be alot younger.
As i said, i was 21 when i was pregnant with amy-leigh and 30 when i had my youngest - i felt a bit old at 30 sat in the waiting room at anti natal appointments with lots of 18-25 year olds!! So this time its gonna be even worse lol!
I just hope my eldest daughter (14) doesnt have kids young - what with her and her two younger sisters and this baby - that would be a nightmare lol - we`d be like the waltons and im sure there isnt a car big enough! My partner also has a son from his first marriage who is 12.
