Hi Cheggers. Its so refreshing to know you are 38 and pg.
I'm 38 and ttc my fourth. Are we mad ? I don't think so. Its what life is all about.
How did u know when u were preggers. Any symptoms or just a late AF.

Hi girls, I am 41 and having my first a baby boy.
Never thought I would have a baby, was married to an idiot. and after that ended spent a lot of time travelling and partying met my current man 5 years ago and we decided to try in December, got pregnant in Feb, thought it would take ages.

it means so much to me because I lost my mum,dad and brother all in a space of 4 years so have always felt a gapping hole in my life. Now I can look forward to having a family of my own.
Makes me sad he has no family on my side, but I know my partner and I will love him with all our hearts and he will never feel alone.

hi cookiemonster, love that . thanks for the kind words
We are going to call him Zach, or so we think.

My pregnancy has been good, no sickness. Lots of aches especially headaches. and I sprouted a bump very early, looks like I have beach ball under my top. Laughing

I am very excited and keep buying him bits each time I go shopping. Getting a bit impatient though, cannot wait to meet him.

see your trying good luck, i will keep all my bits crossed for you, have you been trying for long? xxxx

Aww Zachs a lovely name. We been ttc for a couple of mths now. I thought for some strange reason that It would happen first go as I did with my other babies but I keep forgetting I'm an "older mum" now so I am gonna have to be patient. Not one of my strong points Smile It didn't take u long to conceive though.
My sil had her last baby age 43 so I cling to hope Smile

Hi

To answer your question ,this baby was not planned. We tried for 7 year, had failed IVF (ICSI), Had two miscarriages and decided to call it a day and surprise surprise baby on the way.

It is weird having children who are older, my son has left college, my daughter starts college Sept 09, My youngest is going into year 8.

On the odd side my daughter has come around, and told all her friends, my youngest thinks it is okay. My eldest things that it is gross we still do it. Smile

This is my second relationship, my husband is 7 years my junior and we have been together 11 years.

Eeehem! 30's isnt old!!
I'm 32 and I sure hope my 10mnth old girl doesnt grow up an only child!! I'm crapping my pants at the thought of doing it all again.... but probably will, at least once more.
My lil sister just told me tonight how a friend of her friend just had her first beautiful, healthy baby after finally finding someone special to wed at 47. This was after I had just told my sis that a girlfriend of mine was preggers with her second after being told before her first that she'll never have kids, AND she had her tubes tied three years ago when her daughter was 2 . hmmmmm Confused who really is in control here???
