I am 23 and have had 2 children, but despite being told I need a smear test when I have spoken to my doctor I have been told I do not need one until I am 25. However my health visitor disagrees and told me to make sure I get one after this baby. I think the age thing is rubbish as my sister-in-law had an abnormal smear and had to have cells removed when she was 24 which would have gone undetected if she had not had one earlier.
