Post subject: Great Pregnancy Website! Hi,
My name is Jolene, I am a proud mother of three children; 11, 6, and 5. Pregnancy and birth has been the most amazing journey I have ever been through; each delivery of mine was unique and special. I can still feel the warmth of my babies skin on my chest, my first gaze into my newborn’s eyes… I never knew what true love was until the moment I looked into the eyes of our first child. I have worked in Obstetrics for the past ten years, and have had the privilege of attending many births. I am currently in my senior year of nursing school, I will be specializing in Obstetrics. I recently constructed my first web site, I wanted to create a unique site that would give women the knowledge and the power to become their own patient advocates; as there are many choices a woman has when it comes to the birth experience they desire. This site was built truly from my heart, as I have even included pictures of my own births. There are many resources you may find helpful, you can also register to receive tons of freebies for you and baby! I hope that you enjoy the site, I am always open to “feedback” (good or bad) as this site is still a “work in progress”, so be sure to check back often! Post subject: hi jolene, great website! i`m a midwife and mum of 2 boys, ages 2 and 6 weeks. i was very interested about the story of the couple who wanted their baby placed in water immediately after birth. i agree that the transition from in utero to the open world should be as gentle as possible. it makes for happy babies. i admire your philosophy on childbirth, it is the most amazing time of a womans life and its a miracle. i think the world of obstetrics is becoming too medicalised these days! your natural approach is like a breath of fresh air. well done you.

I really appreciate the feedback, and I am glad to hear that my site put's off more of a "natural" approach to labor. I really have put my heart into this site. I would love it if you wouldn't mind sharing it with your patients, associates. I would be more than happy to send you some flyers that you could include in your prenatal paackets. at the mo i`m mostly on delivery suite, but if you would lke to spread the word of your lovely website, you could send me your flyers and i can take them to the antenatal clinics for the prenatal packs. when i grab a bit more time, i might just tell my birth story. it`ll be good toshare!! thanks.
