Post subject: Coping With Chesty Cold/Flu
Hello ladies,

I have had a terrbile cold/flu for the last 2 weeks for which I have been unable to take anything to clear it up Sad . It has been making me sick all the time (so much mucus - nice) and my chest feels like it is rattling at night.

Does anyone know if it is worth me going back to the doctors now it is on my chest? Can they give me anything?? I am 16 weeks pregnant with my first baby and want to clear it up but just can't face a third doctor visit with no joy!

Poor thing, you must be drained.

I've just done a quick google search and the homeopathic remedy called Brauer chesty cold relief is apparently safe to use during pregnancy. You could always sip on a warm honey and lemon water; the honey will soothe your throat.

If you are struggling then pop along to your doctors, he may be able to prescribe something that is safe.
