ok, so i am a qualified nail technician and do extensions etc from home just for extra pocket money for friends, family etc.

well my sis in lw is getting married on monday and i offered 2 do her nails - which i didnt mind at all UNTIL today i found out i am being expected to do her nails, her bridesmaids and my moth in lw - for FREE - the cheek - i could earn 90 quid doing this. the fact is i was told not asked to do this - what with my spd i think its abit much as they know how much pain i am in

i dont know if i am extreemly stupid or extreemly nice

Be honest about it. Tell her what you feel. Otherwise sheŽll always expect something of you. So the best thing to do is put your foot down when it first happens. So you could either say, well since im not asked i have to cahrge you (maybe less, family discount) or as already mentioned no wedding present.

I think you should ask them to pay for materials (at least) so that you are not out of pocket! Say it in a jokey manner perhaps? It's really rude not to have been asked first. Say something now (however hard it is) otherwise it may happen again!

I think that is sooo cheeky. My cousin is a beauty therapist and i didn't ask her to do our nails and make up on my wedding day because i knew she would probably feel obliged to do it for free and i know she can't afford to. I told her i wanted her to enjoy the day as a guest and just get herself ready like everyone else.
