Antenatal classes

Post subject: Antenatal classes Hi
I am only 15 weeks pregnant at the moment and have been told I will get a 1 day class through my midwife closer to the time. Was just wondering if anyone did an NCT class too? I have heard they are good, and help form a support group, but they also seem quite expensive. Did you join one or just go with NHS provided stuff? I only did the NHS one at about 30 weeks I think. I really really enjoyed it and still keep in touch with a couple of the girls I met there. My friend has recently been to the NCT group and from what she said i think that there did seem to be a bit more opportunity for chatting and getting to know people. Ultimately, she paid a lot of money where mine was free but essentially what she learnt was the same as far as i could tell. why not give them a ring and see how you feel after?!
