Post subject: Implantation info needed
Ive read off the web, that there is a debate about the fact women can feel implantation or not.
On these sites doctors say that its not possible to feel implantation due to the fact its so small {thats its not visible to the eye} how can a woman feel it?
Then there are some docs that say you can...
Im due to test in 4 days and for 2 days ive had twingers low down and on the right side, {its where i would expect to feel these cramps,} and its always in the same place, its not painful, i just feel the twingers.
Ive had no spotting at all, except that while i wiped on thursday i saw a very small, not quite match head size bits of brownish / pinkish jelly CM. {Far tmi i know}
So what does that mean?
Any help appre'' xx

Hi Wheatybaby, I have just experiencd some spotting and I have had pain also on the right side low down, its also very mild pain, feels like AF pain but milder. I'm worried mine is my AF, think I'm trying not to get my hopes up as its the first proper month we have been TTC. I dont see why women cant feel the implantation, some women say they can even feel it when they ovulate, which I would imagine wouldnt be as noticable as implantation!!!! I doubt everyone could feel it, some dont even get AF pain (how lucky!!!!). I hope its going to be OK for us both!!! Let me know, I'm testing next Saturday, so I have 1 week left, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you xxxx

Hi poppytots,
This is my 2nd proper month of trying, and im def one of the lucky ones that never get the dreaded period cramps, so i wouldnt know one if it did, but i am getting these twingers down low on the right, never had them before. AF isnt due till next wed/ thurs so im not sure. If i am exp my first period cramp {is it too early} or infact is it implantation cramp?
All confusing....
Im going to test tues i think but i feel should wait till AF is due.... what do you think? Oh i hope its ok for us to, we can bring up the rear for aug on the positive tests eh.... well i have everything crossed for you and keep me posted.... Write soon xxx

I think you should wait until your AF due date, some tests will pick up early signs, but I always think its tempting fate, although I know how agonising the wait is!!! Its only 2 days and if you wait at least you will get a better indication, and you can then book an appointment with your docs to confirm it. Many doctors wont see you until after your AF date.

It probably is too early for AF cramps, and if you have never experienced them before (I'm a bit jealous of that, lol!) its unlikely to be that. What your experiencing is similar to me, whenever I got AF cramps it tended to be all over and not just on one side, and far more painful!!! My spotting seems to have cleared up, and some of the ladies on here seemed to think it could be an implantation bleed, its was far paler and very very light, no evidence on a pad if you see what I mean!!!(sorry for the TMI!!!). How long have you had the cramps for? I had some last week and they have been on and off, I got to the point where I was adament I was going to have my AF as its hasnt been regular since the patch.

God, I'm so anxious at the moment, dont want to get too excited in case it hasnt happened, but it would be fantastic timing if I did catch this month (in terms of job, college course and also wedding!!!) We are planning it so I dont show for my wedding day which is in October, and if I do catch this month, I can tell everyone after we have returned from honeymoon!!!

Keep in touch and let me know if you have any other possible symptoms, and vice versa, I'll send 'positive' thoughts for you, fingers crossed x x x

Hi poppy
Yeah your right, as tempting as it is, im not going to test till af is due as it only gets me down when i only see the one line.
Ive had the cramps for two days now, its not all the time, on and off but often enough for me to notice. I havent had any spotting like you, which sounds so positive, i keep hoping that each visit to the loo will result in something......
Im the same as you work wise, ive just been made redundant and decided on a major career change, so if i caught this month i would be due end of april 09 {i guess you would be very early June.} It would fall perfectly with my course and then my uni course which is due to start mid sept 09. so fingers crossed.
How perfect would that be, for you to be a bfp this month and have the wedding / honeymoon and then come back with the lovely news, oh i have everything crossed for you and hubby to be, i really do.....
Well ill write soon, assuming ive not gone mad with the wait.... take care sweet xxx

Hi, Yes I had a slight bleed (supposed it would be classed as spotting??), I'm hoping it was an implantation bleed but who knows!!!! I havent had anything since. My AF has been all over the place so it could be something to do with that, just to have wait I guess???

What course are you doing at uni? I took a psych degree, and doing counselling at college, hopefully qualify next August, which would be good timing with maternity!!! I could look for a job with the knowledge I could go back to my old job if I absolutely had too!!!xxx

Im doing a veterinary degree, or will be, im taking additional courses this year to add to it. Sounds like it could be perfect timing for both of us. My friend who had her baby in feb this year said that i wouldnt want to go back to work, but she just loves being at home all day everyday, must say i'll def want to go back to work / uni.
I hope the bleeding is spotting and not your af, fingers crossed for you sweet,,,,, do you think we need to talk to someone the amount of time we've spent on here today, and its now 11.20 and im still here.... lol

Hi everyone i hope everyone is ok,

Hi i have bein having a few cramps too and my boobs are really killing calmed down abit and moved to the boob part near underarm, I am not due until 2 weeks and realised when i went to toilet earlier that i was bleeding very heavy and dark colour, First it was only when i wiped which was lighter in colour and slightly jelly, Now its very dark & quiet heavy but no period like pains, I have also woke up this morning to discover a long green vein across both breasts (weird or what) ?..I am due a test in two weeks but i am not sure if this is PERIOD or SOMETHING else ? i am due fertitlity medication treatment (tablets) in 3 weeks which can cause multiple births ! As i have P.C.O.S and been trying for nine months but never had anything like this, Sore, swollen breasts, Indegestion & heartburn with Hiccupps which make me feel like vomitting, Thank god for GAVISCON lol.

Symptons have died down a bit apart from the swollen sore boobs which have moved around to the sides (just near under the arm). Please any advise would be helpful, Thankyou and i will keep fingers crossed for all of us

If this is a PERIOD is it possible to have periods during pregnancy ? i have heard that women have had periods for the whole nine months but i dont think mine is an actually monthly PERIOD, Plus i am always irregular which is 10/10 overdue but bleeding has started 2 weeks early which is rare for me, Before bleeding started i did go to doctors she said She thinks i am pregnant as all the early symptons have started i just have to wait until i miss a period so now i am stuck what to do as like i say bleeding has started,

All the best and thankyou for looking xx

Hi Everyone,

Well done on you BFP Jo, thatys great news, well done!!!! Brunettegirl, it certainly sounds as though you have pregnancy symptoms, some women can have periods throughout pregnancy but they tend to be not a heavy and for fewer days in total. I have had some more spotting today, woke up and found a small pea shaped (sorry ifs its TMI!!!) lump which was about 1mm/2mm and then some spotting later, so Its doesnt look hopeful, does that sound like i have had a chemical pregnancy?xxxx
