sleep apnea

Post subject: sleep apnea has any one had problems with this in there preemie ??
baby ben was 36 weeks and they keep drumming it home that he shouldnt be having this problem.......... but he is!! so they are holding off on the MRI to see if he grows out of it. has any one else's baby had a few problems with forgetting to breath from time to time, several times a day ?? short periods of time thou, not needing resuscitated, just a wee nudge or rub if so how long did it take for them to grow out of it ?? Post subject: Hi my twins were born at 33weeks and they too suffered a little with this, very much like ur baby, nothng drastic just a reminder to breathe!! Also they held their breath when they were feeding and went blue!! We were told that once they reached their term date they would grow out of it...They are now 10weeks old and things are much improved:) It just takes time for them to catch up a bit
